Final Year Project
Project Title
Threads of Life: A Moral Decision-Based Interactive Narrative Game
Description
Threads of Life is an interactive narrative game designed to explore moral decision-making through realistic scenarios. The project aims to demonstrate how video games can encourage empathy, ethical reflection, and responsible decision-making rather than focusing only on entertainment. Players encounter everyday dilemmas, such as accidents, conflicts, and social challenges, where their responses influence the direction of the story through a branching narrative system. The purpose of the project is to show how interactive media can simulate real-world ethical situations and promote thoughtful behavior. The expected benefit is increased player awareness of consequences, improved moral reasoning, and evidence that narrative-driven games can serve as meaningful educational and reflective tools.
